Twin 67s... I am no pro, but I would assume they would get you there.

Personally going twin GT42Rs on my 408, but I need a bit more power to get my pig moving.

67's really? I was thinking smaller. I would want full boost by 3500-3800 rpm

I had T61's on my stock cube engine. with p-trim exhaust wheels and .68 ar t-4 housings, it made full boost at 3800.

if your only wanting 800rwhp and spooling early, something like a gt35 or smaller then a 60mm (like 58-60mm)
i think the high output incon turbos could do 700rwhp (gt28 hybrids right) so something a little bigger then that.
Edit: missed the part that you wanted to be able to hit 1krwhp so youll have to use something bigger then a 60mm like Harlan ays below.

How high does he plan to spin it?? That will dictate turbo sizing as well.

Mid 60 mm minimum if he plans to hit 1K RWHP. Even a pair of 67's will be working pretty hard at that point, you'll trade spool for efficiency though.

70+ units will be a little lazier, but you'll make more power with them just keeping the charge temps down.

been there, done that

Here's a graph from another forum member running a couple Precision T44's which were modded to T52's (i think) on a top-mounted setup, stock cubes..

Looks to be ideal to me!!

Those were the units I believe Jose and Jason customized for Nick Y. in his C5 auto Vert. Those turbos went 9.9's@145+mph on regular wheels.....amazing. Now Jose built him some new custom ball bearing units that are even larger that spool the same.......should be a wicked setup.

Go with a set of T61 DBB's. We have had good sucess with them on our customers cars. Same as a GT35R but without the price.

Are those the Turbonetic units that Nick just swapped to? If so, I just got my set yesterday and installed them last night!!! Anyways... that graph is Kevins.

Yes, he went to a set of T-netics that Jose had speced for him. Looks like they will be killer units.
