Where did you get the metal brace that holds the intercooler to the cut bumper support?

This is the probably the best setup for a fmic, beside the EPP, that I have ever seen. Excellent craftsmanship.

02SSLE: how did you get a $300 intercooler from EPP for $225 including shipping??

And how much hp will that intercooler support? I am looking to do a truck manifold kit with 650rwhp pump and 800rwhp race gas. What kind of boost pressure drops and intake temp drops could you expect from an intercooler like this?

And as far as bar and plate intercoolers go, I know they are best, are they all created equal? It's just that some intakes's like this 31x12x4 go for $500-$800. There has to be a reason this one is half to one third the cost right?

Any help is appreciated- thanks-Mike

What tools do I need to be able to fab up my own intercooler. Would really like to make my custom turbo set up one day..

Are the tools affordable?

The way I look at it is if I can spend (including tools) $7000 on this stuff, I paid what I would pay someone else to build it but have the tools myself.. Then I dont know these tools may cost major $$$

What kind of pipes did you buy...also, did you get all the silicon couplers/t-bolt clamps to hook it up? I just bought an Intercooler...but now I need to do the piping to hook it up right!

Thanks.
