Need help. Techs please chim in

I have a bud of mine trying to pin the crank on my Z06, and he is not able to get the bolt loose, he is a 240lb Bodybuilder. Should it be that difficult to loosen the bolt. I need some advice to give him. (no smart comments guys, this is a serious problem)

Impact gun.

On older cars, not nice ones I have used the starter to do it. You need a breaker bar that will reach the grond when on the bolt the hit the starter. Not reccomended unless you are really in a pinch and you feel lucky.

4-5ft extension bar on your breaker bar. Thats what it took on my Vette...

3/4" drive air impacts can have difficulty breaking those damn bolts loose. As was said before, the longest breaker bar extension you can get your hands on is your best bet.

put her in 4th gear and get one guy pushing and the other one pulling... Once it's actually broken you're going to be pissed at how easy it is to just twist it out...It's the initial turing it though... What kind of pulley puller does he have?? He's going to need the three prong puller because the conventional puller (I tried myself) won't work on it...If he needs it then he can just go to Autozone and rent one...Good luck!!!
