There will be a ton of improvments that will be incorperated in the new blocks that will be hitting the market. But you can keep the heads down with the current stuff and mid 7's are no problem.

I had no problem with head gaskets this season at all and the car spent a lot of time in the 7's.

The reason I think alot of people arn't real intrested in the block is because its Iron. When you have the Warhawk, LS7, and Sleeved LS2 blocks out there all alumium. Why pay for the extra weight, when you can get great power out of the others and save 100lbs.

That needs to be a ******* sticky the next time someone brings up "having to have an iron block" for boost applications. Good for you in proving it. That block has to have seen somewhere in the 1200 fwhp range. You guys can stuff that iron **** in your rides and make the big power. I am more interested in making big power and having a nice streetable car at under 3Klbs.

I know of people pushing water at 15 psi on a conservative tune. the people that are holding down big boost aren't telling how they are doing it. if I could reliably hold down 27 psi like you, there would be some damn good passes at the national in Feb.

Ummm me. No back seats, lightweight molded carpet, no a/c(has heater), tube k member, chromoly everything suspension, lightweight battery, no front and rear bumper supports, sparco seats, other random brackets and **** gone. Shooting for 2900lbs with radio, power windows, and T-tops. After the FI stuff probably closer to 2950.
