most guys are having best success with the Pro Yank 3400 Extreme. They say it is awesome on the street, not too loose, and hits like king kong. Plus it will hold up to a ton of HP. Hope this helps

on my th350, 408, 224/236 D1sc car i have a stall that has a shift extension to about 5k rpms.... and i have been able to foot brake it over 4k....
it just depends what you do with your car.... if you car is stock internals or not forged i would get a smaller/tighter stall so you can keep your foot in it longer.... cause having a big stall and shifting at 6k rpm is ***...

the only thing bad i gotta say about the pro yank 3400 is that the shift extension isn't where i'd like to be, if you're making more power you should be alright.
when i shift at 6600 it drops to about 4500 so the engine almost feels like it bogs down but once it gets back into the 5000+ rpms its ok. this converter is a tight son of a bitch!
i'm not making a **** ton of power so this converter is way overkill for me. if i had another 100-400 hp I'd be ok. i make 526 rwhp.
if i put the bottle on my car which i'm heavily considering this converter will be perfect.
this converter is definitely for higher hp cars.
i'd say a regular ss3600 or 3800 would be fine with a shift extension of 5,000 from 6600.
