well I am doing similar setup. I am using a Alt relocation to put it up top on pass side. Now I have plenty of room to run 4 inch downpipe. Just a suggestion.

I thought about relocating the alt but I have no idlers/water pump pullies. The water pump is mounted on the radiator, Courtesy of Meziere.
