Biggest turbo/turbos for C5
I'm looking for the biggest set of twins or single turbo for a C5. What are they, what is the power potential, where are they located in the car?
I know the APS kit has twin 38's located where the cats were and are capable of 850rwhp on a 427.
Lets here some more

Base LPE kit has GT2871R's that flow 44lb/min each and will max out around 740rwhp on a 346 engine around 17psi. Go high 9's hooked up.
Next step is a GT3076R. 50lb/min each...max out around 850rwhp. Same power with the APS kit. More hp than most could ever use on the street....hook it and you'll go low 9's to high 8's.
Both turbos above are T25 turbines.
TTIx.....bigger exhaust turbines T3....Compressor side is triple secret so who knows where it will top out...probably +900 rwhp. Run 8's hooked.
Next step would be GT35R's. T3 turbines. 60lb/min
Easy +1000rwhp at 22psi.....run as fast as you're man enough to run.

Yeah I'm doing research for someone else, and yes I agree that 800 is more than necessary for the street.
Now I'm not that knowledgeable on the turbo sizing numbers when they have different letters and numbers unless they are using the same. So I don't know the difference between say one turbo using a T76 or one using say a GT35.
The GT35R's are the ones used by Speed Inc on the F-body Twin kit. Do they fit on the C5?? I assume in the same location as the APS kit

I dont know what size turbo's I have and to be honest I really did not care after finding out about other cars with the same kit. I only wanted 700 to 800rwhp. The car has far exceeded my goals. I will tell you that I was told the turbos each flow 55lbs/min. I am sure someone can figure out what size turbo's via that information...... There are guys already dyno'ing over 900rwhp with this kit. There is a company with the same kit with a modified exhaust setup going from the turbo's back with a 427ci and they put down close to 950rwhp on 12lbs of boost.. I think its Granatelli's 427ci TT car.

sts twin rear mount twin 61's i think have made over 900rwhp on a C5 vette. think it was a 408 but might have been a 402.
major spray (i know its a race motor) have made 1200 bhp i think with a 101 on a 427.
TTi are putting out big numbers. not sure the size of the turbos though.
APS kit (is it out yet?) uses Garrett GT 28r's i think. there are upgrades to GT30s i think which should puch you over 1000bhp.
PTK has made over 800rwhp on a 346 i think.
depends what you want really.
thanks Chris.

I was reading some stuff on the Vettrforum seems the TTi can be had with bigger compressors for certain applications. A little birdy told me exceeding the GT35Rs flow as an option is not an issue, this far exceeds LPE/APS. It would make sense as they run the T04B on their stuff and 65+lb/min is available.
Pretty crazy looking at the pricing wars for the "elitist" vette crowd.

Guys, keep in mind when people talk about max numbers they are talking about what can be done with built motors, trick cylinder heads, appropriate cam, race fuel (usually), etc..
