So did you get rid of the ATI shroud and just mount the fan to the radiator? If so, did it help? I was going to when I put the second fan on mine but chickened out because no one had done it before.

I have an ATI shroud here but never put it on, since I never drive it when its above 80 degrees or have A/C it works fine. Probably wont work too well on a DD with A/C though..

This is the best time to run around here, elevation is around 1500' and its pretty brutal in the summer - I look forward to this weather. Car runs better and its a lot more comfortable in a black car with 3 layer jacket/gloves etc.

Wow, that makes your times that much more impressive. I never knew you were that high up in elevation. Can't wait to see some more with the new blower!!!!

Several things, size, laziness and the F1A's impeller speed is more along with what pulleys I can use. The tensioner I have is a max of 4" blower with a 7.25 crank so that left me with the F1A or F1C if I wanted to run the blower under max. F1C may have been a wiser choice but I'm almost out of room and this 8 rib drive is only going to handle so much so I took the smaller package. I'm only looking for a couple tenths, no need blowing the heads off the 347 with an F1C/R

Here is a vid of it running with the F1A, may take a few minutes for it to work.

Hey thanks KP for posting that video, I was wondering if anyone elses F1 was noisey as mine, although my second one we fitted 2 days ago is not so noisey for some reason, but Im glad about that,
the only thing different between the two head units is the new one has a 4" pulley and the first was running a 4.25.

Holidays/weather. Was going to try it today at a local 1/8 mile track but it looks like rain, plus the track wont be prepped much most likely. Car has to be on a good track these days to get any usefull data, if it spins the tires its a waste of time and gas.

I'm kind of bored with the whole thing right now to be honest, this time of the year my enthusiasm tends to dwindle a little - fighting off the 'selling the whole mess and buying a C6 Z06' syndrome

Get rid of that Mustang you bought and buy a Z06. There, problem solved.
