Yea, tuning with the MAF.

As for the box.. the only fittings it comes with is a barbed fitting for on end, and a plug for the other... all of the center slots that you going to get reference out of you will need fittings for. You will also need a T like i have if you want to go into the brake booster. Hope this helps. Any more questions feel free to ask.

Well i got another big ol' box today... from Summit. All the stuff for my y-pipe. Ordered some 180* bends that i can cut and weld to "snake" around, the actual Y (mangaflow.. VERY nice piece) and 2 cutouts. The downpipes are going to go into the cutouts so i can get the full potential out when needed for the track, then the 2 after the cut outs are going to merge into the Y and then go into my Borla catback for a nice tone for cruising around! Here are some pics!

dual cutouts

180* mandrel bends

all of it

Thumbs up

Man, this car is gonna be a monster!
Can't wait for the dyno numbers!
Good build superman!!! I'm still tossing the idea in my head about keeping my car or selling it for either a '69 Camaro/Chevelle pro-touring car?? This thread has been very helpful though, even though I wouldn't do the work on my own car since I do not have the knowledge for that. Again, great job on your car/posting!!!
Good luck man!!!

Thanks a lot man.... Monster, far from it on the 8 lbs, but it should be fast and enough for the street. Need an engine and some better valvetrain to be a monster but i appreciate the comment lol. I'm also glad that my thread benefited you, great to hear that all this time i'm spending on here is doing some people good! Appreciate the nice comments . Going over to start on this Y-pipe now

haha that is one thing i do not want this car to turn into... a racecar, lol. Its going to be a street car. I almost bought a set of prostar front skinnies for the track but then if they helped my times i would get thinking hmm, what if i added some lighter rear wheels with more sidewall, and what if i shed a few pounds here.... and before you know it i'd have a racecar, lol. Goal for this car is 95% street with the occasional track visit for fun and those passes will be on the 18's. Someday i'll build a racecar...

Anyway, got some more done tonight, got that damn stock y-pipe off while Frank finished up some electrical running stuff to a relay. Then i modified my pass side fuel rail cover to fit with the relocated alternator and that worked out pretty good so i got the FRC's and Hotchkis STB back on. Also got the up-pipe back on and tightened down the clamps. Also cleaned up and took all of my take off parts home. The light is near... So this weekend we have to cut and fab up this Y-pipe and then get the car outside where we can fully open the door to get at the fuse box to wire the power to the guages. After thats done i plan to take the car on a light cruise around the neighborhood to let the car get up to temp, top the fluids off, make sure all is working good, etc. Then up on a trailer she goes and off to W2W!

Here are some pics from tonight. Most of the FRCs and STB back on, still have some cleaning to do under the hood and some more minor adjustments, etc. The polished radiator support should be here this weekend or early next along with a catch can... that should tie up the engine bay a little more, then with the alternator polished it should all start looking pretty good. Feel free to ask any questions/comments, etc.

What are you doing for a PCV set up? I believe the line from the TB to valve cover needs to be removed otherwise you will be boosting the crankcase.
