Question Boost gauge stuck?

The gauge moves when I give it gas, but at WOT, it stops around 9 in-hg. Even when I turn the car off, the gauge goes up to about 8-9 and just sits there. If you tap on it, it will go back to zero. So, is my gauge a complete waste or is there a way to fix this? It's not a vacuum leak and it's not a crimped hose or anything like that. Thanks

When you say you are going WOT, are you driving or is the car sitting still not in gear? Where are you referencing for your signal?

Well if your doing WOT from idle with no load on the engine... Your not going to see any boost..
