That is true. To my memory, his cam evolution was something like:

214/222-114
227/218-117
224/224-113
218/218-114

I could be off a few degrees here and there. I'd like to see some results in the other direction, though. Perhaps something like 234/234-112 would be interesting.

408 t88 218/230 .561/.561 115...840 on pump gas...10.5 12psi 142mph 3990# street trim. Car idles at stock and is quieter then a header catback car.

Jose's SS has a 230/230 with .544 duration and a 114LS.
