Seems like there would be two numbers, fastest STS kit, and fastest rearmount setup. I see some guys listing rearmounts but they might have little or no STS content. I would guess that nobody has run a true STS kit into the 9's with an F-Body.

Cartek has put Rear Mount turbo GTO's and Vette's into the nines.
They have also put many other cars into the single digits. (read credibility)
GTO's are typically what? 300 pounds heavier than an F-body?
Simple math says the lighter car will be able to do it no problem.
Plus the F-bodies suspension is better. (for drag racing).

Thats what i thought to myself too. the F-bodies weigh less and mine will have an aluminum block to also save on weight. It seems so possible that it can be done to get f-bodies into the high 9 seconds with an sts kit or even a rear mount turbo. I at least hope that if i don't do it and am not successful, i at least hope some other person with an F-body does it. I am determined to see an LS1 or LS2 Fbody into the 9's with the STS setup.

I went 10.206 @133 in a 99 z28 with my rear mount kit. I did zombies also. The 99 is a stock bottom end car. OEM built 346, portes 317 heads, a used z06 cam. The season has ended.....and its in for changes. More tire, lsx GM , another 76, but the 76's will be front mounted and certified cage.
Going 9's with a rear mount is not a problem if that all you want, the 99 is not a light weight, and zombies is a heavy weight, both street cars that also race liter bkes on the hiway.

wow, 35rwhp just by removing that stupid sock!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By looking at the wastegate setup at exoticperformance on his car, you could run dual tips using a pipe from the wastegate as one of the tips and the downpipe as another, just an idea (you'd have to of course get it upsized to match the downpipe).
