As many of you may have read, I am having block issues due to my starter flanges snapping off. I just figured I would seek some suggestions for what specs to go with IF I order a new block. I would like to keep it somewhat on a budget.
What would the best compression and CID be for a car running a T76GTS? Iron or Aluminum? I am leaning towards aluminum since it is lighter and would seem to support the power levels a T76 is capable of. I would also like to use a stock crank. I will be running the stg 3 patriot LQ9 heads that I already have.
Thanks

346 would be ideal.
im running a 76gts on a 366. only have taken it to 15psi. doubt it will make much more boost, but it sure as hell makes a shitload of power. 370 would be the MAX i would run it on
