I've asked around and well no definate answer. I want to go with an ATI Procharger but I was told that since I live in Houston, Texas and with the heat here, the car wouldnt last as a daily driver. I drive the car like around 1000 miles a week. It's a stock 02 SS M6 with 65k miles on it. I was told to go with heads and cam instead but I was thinking of s/c it first. That way if I ever get a cam later on, I can get one thats appropiate for the s/c. I was also going to go low on the psi so that I wouldnt damage anything for now.

For hotter climate cars, we install a spal 9" fan on the ATI shroud. This helps incredibly to reduce engine temps.

Also you can install a FMIC to help with heat saturation to the intake air temps...I would go for it...

Yeah it could work, especially with some good intercooling, fans, and meth. But honestly, if you drive that much, why not get a beater for it and build this car for a weekend cruiser?

Check out this Trans-Am that we did the install on for a customer from El Paso. We added the Spal fan to the ATI ProCharger fan assembly, that Jake mentioned above.

This list may help you out. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com....html?item=540 Bob

I've got a heads/camed/procharged ta here in h-town. Up untill now, I've driven it every day. However, I drive it alot but don't go that far. If I had to drive that much every day id go with a beater too. With that said, I have had only one prob. My fuel pressure. A few years ago I was stuck in traffic for a long while and I noticed the fp dipping, but it never overheated. I have had a problem with fp dropping ever since. (im gonna replace the whole fuel sys. from top to bottom) Hope this helps. A boosted car is a blast!
