Default ATI 6rib & 8rib differences?

What is the difference between the ATI 6rib and 8rib other than the pulleys and belt?

Good q. Got the 8 rib off the bat. Didn't want belt slip so I upgraded. Im pushing 8psi of boost. Don't know how bad the 6 is or could be.

These pulleys are off an LT1 Procharger kit, will they work on an LS1 setup?

The 6 rib kit comes standard with the thinner 3.5" twin intercoolers, where the 8 rib kit pn# 1GJ204-SCI kit comes with the thicker 4.5" twin intercoolers.
The 8 rib kit also requires the use of a different harmonic balancer made by ATI Performance Products. The blower crank pulley then gets bolted to the new balancer. Bob

Does going to an 8rip solve the belt slip issue (less than 10lbs) or is it better to go better with something else?

is there a belt bigger than an 8 rib if you are going for more power with a d1 or f1
