Help with diagnosis?
Help with diagnosis? I ran my car at the track last night, and when I was done I noticed the car spit oil from the oil filler breather. I cleaned it up and took it easy going home. I never had any misfire codes or audible knock. I popped the hood again when I got home, and the breather was smoking a little. So I pulled all the passenger side plugs which looked good. No oil or anything on them. Just a light brown tint on all the electrodes. So I crank the car hoping it wouldn't smoke, but it did so I shut it off. I then went to the passenger side of the car, and could hear what sounded like a cylinder slightly hissing. It did this for a few seconds then stopped. I'm guessing a ring or something broke, but hoping it's not that serious. What do you guys think? New motor in my future?
