I think I'm liking the new Procharger bracket the more I look at it. Does anyone know the depth of the D1SC headunit? It sure looks like I have enough room but it would be nice to know the actual physical size of it. Here's a pic of how much room I have:

You '80 Malibu G Body should be able to use the GTO ProCharger kit as a starting foundation. I don't see anything being in the way. Bob

there is only 2 bolts that hold the bracket on the A&A setup... makes you think, huh?

im not gonna worry about my 2 bolts in my iron block unless i see belt dust or any other small maintenance issues around the blower...
So there arent at least 2 other bolts where the tensioner used to bolt up ??

Not that it really matters. A&A dont offer brackets for procharger anymore.

I did a little more reasearch on this with my buddy's corvette and if you use the new procharger bracket ,the one that mount's directly to the head and you install a spacer ,the thickness of the difference behind the bracket then it will work and you should not have any issue's actually mounting the head unit and bracket's.This will be more rigid, than lenghting the spacer's out..Then to upgrade to 8 rib all you have to do is get the 8 rib harmonic balancer and the power steering pulley and alt. pulley? As far as it fitting under neith the hood, well if the vortech clear's then this should also.Since most of us customize our own discharge and intake tube's anyway this should be pretty easy. This is the way i am going ,so I will take pic's and keep you posted as to how it turn's out. I think it will be awesome!!!

Not sure how I missed this but good to know, I would love to find the bracket assembly reasonable......
