my friend is thinking of a new setup...

what rpm do you think it will hit max boost? about what size converter do you think for the setup?

what exaust setup? low end performance depends mostly on low/midrange airflow, which is mostly affected by headers.

Ok I have a question about spool time and do not want to start another thread.

I am planning to run 3in exhust to a muffler I pick (see turbo exhust thread).

My turbo is T76 Qtrim with .81 A/R

I see alot of these questions about spool time with turbos..

I mean you already have the turbo... There are sooooo many conditions that have an effect on spool time.. Lets say the 70 doesnt spool till 3k... knowing that, is that going to have an effect on what your going to do with it?

Just bolt it up and find out for yourself.

My T76gtq didn't have full boost till 3800 with 346 it was a slug till got going. I had alot of probs spooling it. Had to rev the **** out of it before it would get out of it's own way. 2.48 60ft time not spinning at all. Finally figured out if I reved to 5000 and slightly slipped the clutch I had instant boost 60ft dropped to 2.0 's with street tires.

I would run the GTS version instead.
