that car's got a TON left in it.. you 60 footed it like a snail! Get that thing on a good track, and you're gonna knock close to a second off that in no time I am sure.

Congrats... that car rocks!

You should be here at the US Street Nationals in Bradenton, Fl. There are about 50 drag radial cars here.

I was there for that run...VERY NICE! People (including myself) were absolutely gawking at the car all day! We were parked right in front of you in the pits, I was there seeing what the new D.D. would do. I actually forgot my friggin' helmet that day and asked you if I could borrow yours for my last pass (since you only made 1 pass all day). You were on your laptop with your bluetooth in your ear and pretty much just ignored me, just shaking your head no. I understand... you were running your 9 second race car, and I was running a POS 13 second Mustang, hell they should have separate pit areas for us normal guys. No hard feelings though, those guys across from us with the (3) 9 second V-Rods obliged me. I guess there is still a LITTLE bit of camaraderie left in drag racing.

Well considering I have loaned my helmet out in the past and it was not returned to me, I’m sure you will understand why I don’t just hand out my helmet.

2nd that bluetooth was not in my ear to look cool, I was on the phone working through some problems we were having. Hence the only one pass up to that point.

I take racing pretty seriously when I am out, it cost me big bucks to build that car and if I get side tracked and something gets screwed up it could cost me a lot of money or worse. So trust me it was nothing personal but when you have a lot ridding on what choices you make, you try and stay focused on the task at hand. I am still in the process of shaking the bugs out of the car so its important for me to pay attention to details.

I apologize for not being more sociable and I hope you understand.

***Yup, it sucks that a-holes like that have to ruin it for everyone else. I even worry about walking away from my car with the hood up and windows down at times.***

I do understand, I completely see your side of things and I hope you stop for a minute to think about mine. All in all.....no hard feelings and good luck with your car.
