Tc76mps
Cheers,
John
I'm home from work expecting a few posts but damn, this mother blew up

MIAPLAYA
thats all I can say, THANKS FOR CLEARING ALL THAT UP FOR ME. Looks like I do indeed have the wrong turbo, which was ordered from FI.com and what was to be a TC76MPS, I can pull up those posts if needed. I really don't know how Jose spec'd me a 62-1 wheelAll in all mistakes happen. I'm really hoping I do have a 76mm wheel and the box is mislabeled. We won't know until I get the turbo off the car which I will be doing after I type this out, just felt I had to post first.
I'm glad that FI.com will fix this if it is the wrong wheel.
52172, wickedred thanks for posting the pics, that'll help me a lot when I measure mine out.
Here is my label FWIW:

Going outside right now to pull it off, be back in a hour.....oh yeah are these turbo's in stock...my car cannot be down right now at all.

Measure that sucker to see if its right

I'll have the results posted today though, it might be a lil later like 5pm
We are working on it, but i'm strapped for time right now with new home ****.RealQuick, I know I know, but the car was tucked away and put on the back burner until we got into the new house which was to be this week, but its looking like it'll be another week if they are having problems this late in the game.

76MM TURBO

Sorry for the delay and prolonging this drama. I'm glad to see that the box was mislabled.

And a easy way to check your TC76 to see what it has:

We saw that stamp on the compressor housing *after* we pulled it off the car. Its easily visible with it mounted on the car

But a quick measure with the calipers showed 74.xx and 102.xx
Now where to go from here, I dont know. There was no sign of an exhaust leak at the flanges to the truck manifolds, that would be the major exhaust leak if there was one. The turbo spins freely with no bind at any point.
Thanks Turbonetics/FI.com and all who helped me actually confirm what I have and my bro Eric for freezing his *** off with me tonight in a wet driveway pulling a turbo off my car LOL.
