plus, it maybe expensive..... but if you go turbo, no one hears it until you give it a little bit of gas and people hear the whislte. its amazing to hear that all the time...... i love it and wouldnt trade it for anything. blowers have their own significant whine so...... i wont go there. just my .02

There are many reasons other than reliability for that, mostly people wouldn't want to refill the bottle to get stock HP levels. Boost is good. When you have a good SC or turbo kit available for your car, there's no reason not to. Then you can always get some N20 on top of the boost (if your motor will handle it) and the fun really starts!
it was a sales flop though (old people dont like Sc's or n2O lol).
