Spazman thats how i do it. I think there is a better method using a 3 step Also, your footbrake prolly wont hold much over 3000rpms. harlan is coming out with a 3 step soon...that will be the bomb-diggity!!!
here is a little vid i made of my tbrake and 2 step in the driveway. ignore the low oil light In the last segment, you can see the boost coming up but it skyrockets once it hits the 2 step rpm

I did read it and didnt see it mentioned until now. I have a 2-step and hadnt heard of a 3-step. Is that a 2-step plus a transbrake??

A three step is like the two step but with another module. When we use a three step we use one triggered by the brake lite switch, another by the launch or trans brake button and the last is a rev control. Three step is mostly used on pro tree racing.

I had a Harlan 2-step.....it worked great.... great enough to break the back off my tranny...so i have since sold that and been launching via my right foot. So far i have cut a high 1.5ish on BFG DR's feathering the throttle as i let out on the clutch.

Post #6 in this same thread. A stock limiter is fuel cut, we are talking about using a ignition cut 2 step.
