Supercharger and EGR
Is it possible that under boost some air goes through the EGR system?
I'm not worried about the boost lost, but my wideband is installed in the passanges exhaust side (right befor ethe cat) and if the EGR has a leak my AFR measurement will be wrong

Any idea?
Thanks - Stefano
While the EGR is open the timing is slightly advanced (see the attached pic).
I can't tune it out directly because I have LS1Edit, I have to reduce timing in that area in the main timing table.
Is that a good idea?
Do I really have to worry?
I had the EGR on my old z28 with a blower and all the other emissions junk (pre LS1edit days) and never had any problems..

If only a little air goes through the wideband will tell me crap

If you are that paranoid just get rid of it, block it off and turn it off in LS1edit, or put the wideband in the other side.

Something interesting in LS1Edit: if you turn off the EGR you'll have a code.
Like if the program won't know that if it's off the pintle won't be able to move

Do you think that turning it off will eliminate the additional timing advance?
Mhh... OK. I'll have to make a scan. And then log for AFR with the EGR active and then blocked off.
...always the complicated way to learn... try - try - try
Thanks anyway for your advices!
