Boy, there's a lot of truth in that! My dad bought an 03 Cobra in December of 2002 to replace his 67 GTO. The "goat" was not cooperating as a DD after 37 years. Go figure. I remember when he got it....he was worried it wouldn't be as fast because it "only" had a 4.6 vs the 6.6 in the Pontiac. After going sideways a few times, he doesn't complain about the power anymore.
PS....if you find a way to keep it planted on the road, let me know. We have DR's on it, airbags, and the only mods are a Pro 5.0, K&N FIPK, and Borla cat-back. It still goes all over the place in 1st and 2nd gear. It is fun to drive, though.
