I here ya...I didnt start the thread to be an ***. I just figure I would spend my hard earned money with people from this board. I just figured with all the money floating around in this section alone there would have been a sponser swoop in and try to earn my bussiness. Guess not.

After 4 days I finally got a response from FI. Day late and a dollar short.

I talked to a local Mustang Guy(non-sponser) or I would post him up, that is building some bad *** turbo cobras around my parts and he is getting me a price on an Air Werks. He seems to think that as lite as my car is going to be I can hit my hp goal and get into the Eights with an S88.

What is your HP Goal and wieght again???? Mine wieghs in at 3525 and im sure on 21-22 psi ill be 8's this YR.. so close last YR with the S88 @ 20psi.....

Car is a tin can. Pulled everyhting including all the wiring. Will have Lexan glass and nothing will be in the car that is not needed. I am trying to keep the wieght under 3100 pounds with me in the car and I weigh about 200lbs. I may even be lighter

I do think the S88 on about the boost level you are running Kyle will get me there. If not I will just add a small 50 shot or whats needed to get me there.

I am building this car with a local performance transmission shop. We are going to use a 4l60e transmission. The shop owner builds the badest 60e there is and we are trying to set the record for the fastest 4l60e. Our goal is 8.50's or better and are trying to back it up with as many runs as possible to show that the trannys comming out of his shop are for real.

Sounds like a worthwhile goal, but if the trans shop really wants to display their ****, build a 10 or 11sec 5000#+ truck. There are a lot of fast cars with 4l60's, but the heavier vehicles really tend to point out the weaknesses. Also, if you actuallly find a good, reputable turbo shop that isn't too busy to talk to you, please tell who they are. It seems that most of the really good shops are too busy to deal with the little guys.

The off season is the Busiest time of the YR for most shops.... getting things done for next season......

Funny you said that. The transmission shop owner has a 96 GMC Pickup. Makes about 700hp and runs a 4l60e with a 3600 stall and t-brake. He also towed an 8000lbs forklift with it and it. Tranny never missed a beat.
