? for STS guys
Your running stock ported and coated manifolds?
Has anyone tried shorty's or mids? Just rather have them if they will work well?
Im on mac mids without rap I got full spool around 3,800 but now Im wrapp allthe way to the turbo and I get full spool at 3,500 and pulls way harder not sure about flow. I have been told my turbo is too small for my set up and the cam was not good but im happy with it 5.5 psi 490 hp with a leaky waste gate
It must be nice to build so much boost off the line tho..
Hmm my headers non wrapped with a few leaks spool by 3800...I see you have a 76 to my 67 tho.. I dont know what I want to do as far as exhaust..
Ported stockers
Keep Headers or change to shorties..
I know Im going to wrap my exhaust and get my hot and cold side of the turbo ceramic coated... Hot side to keep head in and cold side to keep head out..
Also Im going to do something with the cold side that gets so close to the header..
And something I noticed was the pipe under the car nevers gets hot but the pipe under the hood gets really really hot.. I may wrap it with something and see if that helps the IATs..
Im going to have TRT build me a custom FMI that comes up through the battery area also.. Seems like that will be a much nicer setup than trying to come up around the radiater and hoses ect..

There is a neat little thing can do to your car if you want to build boost of the footbrake but can't because the tires spin.... change your rear gears to 2.73 (10 bolt) or 2.75 (9"). The gears reduce the tq multiplication and let you build boost. I can build 5-6psi on nitto drags off the foot brake on the street and almost 5-10psi at the track on the foot brake depending on prep and tires.
