The tensioner on your vortech kit is custom made from dayco. It is not a replacement part on any car or truck. I talked directly to dayco engineering about this.

Yeah, the post was a little dated, but I thought I would just sneak in with a smiple question. After a couple of years on here, I've never posted, besides the intro. I've solved all my problems and just about every question I've ever thought about by just reading and searching.
If indeed the tensioner number is correct 89446 dayco brand, they've got them on sale over at www.ryderfleetproducts.com for $53.75.

When I needed a tensioner I gave my old one to the local parts store to see if they could match it up. A new Dayco came back in a few hours and I've been running it since (didn't check the part#).
