Default OFI progress pics

Here are some pictures of the progress of my car. I'm down to just a few parts before the fuel system, then I can get the car done. I'm trying to decide if I should do two fuel pumps, one on a hub switch. Or just one large pump. Any help would be appreciated.

Im against running 2 pumps. You will never know when one dies untill its too late. I have one big pump. It dies and youll know it before your motor blows.

I see your point but what if you're big pump just looses pressure or volume and keeps running. We were tuning one of Mallets vette's and he had a problem like that. Guess the only safegaurd you have is a good gauge.

If you have a fuel pressure gauge in the car and it drops pressure you will notice. That is the best safegaurd or have some type of warning light for low pressur or voltage.

Youll know via a guage if its losing pressure with a single pump, but with dual pumps, youll never know as they both make the same pressure, youll just lose all the volume., then boom. The less parts, the better to me.

High rpm pressure will start dropping if you lose one of a dual pump set-up or if a big single starts to die.
