Default Damn STS Buzzer

We'll I just put in my T76 and turned the boost up to 12 lbs. My tuner decided to raise the rev limiter to 6700 to help keep in the power band with the bigger turbo. After we got it tuned I took it on the road and noticed the STS buzzer was going off at the higher rpm's, what boggles me is that it just started doing it once we turned the boost up? Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be

At the return pump, there is a Hobbs switch. Take the rubber cover off and ther is a small dime size plug at the top. Inside there is an Allen head fitting. Get an Allen wrench and turn it clock wise one turn. Go drive it and see if the buzzer quits going off. If not, turn a little more.

Pure curiosity, what does that do? Desensitize the oil warning system, or allow for more flow in the pump? I've spent a lot of time figuring out my STS (wiring and what each relay controls, how the PCV system works, etc) ...and this is a new one for me.

Hey there, don't mean to change the subject, but what kind of numbers did you put down with the T76? You're setup isn't far off from mine, I just don't have the fuel done yet.

When too much pressure builds up in the return, it triggers the buzzer to go off. Basically, when pressure reaches the point where the switch is set, it sets it off. The pressure is adjustable.
It doesnt change flow.

Is the hobb switch the one that is attached to the sts oil pump in the back of the car?

Somewhere in the mid 600's. I should have official numbers next week sometime.

ya I know. I hated that buzzer when I had my STS kit on. No matter how much I turned the hobb switch, at 18+ lbs that buzzer would keep going off
