Dude you most likely are tapped into a wrong source...What you need to do is tap into the brake master cylinder...That's where I have mine and a lot of people have them there and it works perfect...There's no need to wonder there....

He could even run it to the same source as the blow of valve.

The brake booster is a good spot, mine is tapped just to the left of the TB into a vacuum line that runs to the PCV I believe.

When you floor it, is the gauge at least going from 20 to 0? Also, you have disconnected the vacuum line from the gauge and felt suction when the car is running? I had a small problem with my autometer gauge when I first installed it. Upon flooring it, it would only move up to about 10 instead of 0. I undid the line from the gauge and opened up the hole in the back a little more. Now, it's all good...!

Yeah, I already took the vacumm line off while the car was running and felt suction and no the guage is not moving that much. It budges alittle but not much. I can really floor it yet, my car's not fully tuned. It just has a decent tune in it so I can drive it around alittle. The most I have done is half throttle in 1st, 2nd, and alittle bit of 3rd.(no more than 4k r.p.m. in any gear)

Still, when you give it a "decent" amount of gas, the gauge should get pretty close to 0. If it's not, then try my method above. Autometer puts a tiny pin-hole sized hole in the back of the gauge. You can take that out and still hook the line up to it. I did that on mine and it fixed the problem. Praying may have helped a little also

Well if tapping it into the bov hose don't do ****. I will probably just send it back and get a new one still if nothing. I will try that than.

Well I got the guage to read im running 4 p.s.i. right now. That's is with breaking the tires lose on alittle bit wet ground so Im thinking that is what it's set for right now! Can't full throttle it yet but that is at 4k r.p.m. in 3rd gear.
