i think possibly an accessory power so that it turns on when you turn the key, this way it flushes all the oil out of the lines that have been sitting then crank the motor over. Just my thought, could be wrong.

You need to power it with a relay from and good (fused) power source (doesnt mater if it's on all the time or not, STS uses the main jump connection for a power source), then use the fuel pump wire to open and close the relay. I'm not sure on the cars, but on the trucks there is a gray wire in the harness coming out of fuse box under the hood the for the fuel pump. You could use a test light to find it, it will only have power for a few seconds after you turn the key w/out starting the car, but will stay powered if you start the car.

I want to say that...I put the resistor that gets incredibly hot up on the driver's side of the car towards the front past the fuse box. I'm drawing a blank as to where I routed it too right now, but I did use the fuel pump. I think it's the best spot because, when you turn the car to the on position, it primes the fuel pump so you can start the car. This also primes the oil pump to be running while the oil starts flowing into the turbo.
