I think the ultimate coolest sound comes from a twin screwed motor with flowmaster exhaust (aka built ford lightning). However, sound and power are totally different things. I like turbos and hate flowmaster for power, but this thread is about sound, not HP.

KB Cobra is one of the nastiest and sexiest sound ive ever heard.

i love the whine of the Procharger..(thats why im going F1) but a turbo just sounds sick under full boost.

more intimidating? procharger. I love the fact that my turbo is so quiet, even with full 4" exhaust. The turbo spools fast though, so even at part throttle its noticed. plus i love the sound of a jet

Im really not a fan of BOV's...... dont like the flutter......
Now a Bypass valve on a Turbo setup.... is SICK

Maybe I am just reading the fine print on this one, but if you pull up to some dude who's at idle, you're going to hear the Supercharger over the Turbo. You're going to have more time to be intimidated there than a WOT pass. And even if you did a WOT pass, he's probably going to hear your exhaust over both the Turbo and the Supercharger.

Well from what I have experienced at car get togethers and what not...sometimes it's a little hard to carry a conversation with someone when their hood is popped, and your talking about their build with that loud supercharger in the background! Turbos are quiet at idle, and when you decide to take it out to see what it can do, well...
