I prefer turbo but both sound bad a$$. Nothing beats the look on a ricers face when he drives past and makes his blowoff valve flutter only to hear one answer back.... talk about a wide eyed double take and a OH SH**!...lol.

I like the sound of my ride. Sounds like a little cammed LT1 at a stoplight. Then I lean on it a tad....

clicky clicky

I think I hit 2300ish rpm in that clip. (Now I just have to connect the downpipe to the GMMG)

I love it when people are un-suspecting it and hear the whistle from no where

I prefer the sound of a turbo. Something about the unexpected sound of a jet followed by the crack of the whip of the BOV gets me all wet.

I know... had one.... owned both setup's.....
and the SC turns more head reply....... untill the here the high pitched whistle and ya pop the hood LOL....

Just crusin on the freeway all quiet like, minedin' my own, and a 95 mustang rolls up to me. Down shift to 3rd from 5th and the ati race ready bruises your ear drums and then comes the total look of shock. At freeway speeds it's quiet and at wot I hear exhaust only, but anything between that and its all bypass valve with a touch of wine.

I had a procharged 427 in my nova before i built the turbo LS1, I could not stand the sound of the procharger.. abnoxious and annoying as all hell. I got reid of it for that reason. And an LS1 is way cooler than a big block by far.

It sounds like an obvious SC to me.

For me it all depends on the car. Nothing beats the sound of a turbo, to me its probably the closest you will ever be to being inside of a Tornado! But hearing a nice f1-f3 procharger is pretty hard to beat too, at idle anyways

I voted for turbo though, but one of my next builds will be a procharger.
