Nice flat torque curve! Were you guys break boosting on the dyno to get the spool up?

they didnt do it with mine. they just built boost as they went and let her rip in 4th, its wrapped so the boost comes on pretty fast if the car's been sitting for a few min

i'd rather just have them let it rip like normal, not load the dyno or anything. it'll be just fine with the power it makes IMO. theres a big difference in a exhaust wrapped STS car than a non wrapped STS car. plus the cam has a lot to do with how the turbo responds. i know after about 10 mins of normal driving, the turbo is ready to play

that's pretty good numberes 98z28, what did it end up costing you at the end, thinking about doing the bottem end and just bought the set up for the sts, to run 10psi if id like to. I know i have to do the pistons and rods, to achieve that without seeing my stock pistons on the ground. Got a 00 ram air m6, and im wondering what would be good for the clutch and tranny to run great instead of lacking and having to replace them down the road...pm me!!thanks achieving 500-550rwhp range thankx

clutch is a must my friend and PM received and replied to. fix the clutch right from the start with a good one. im prob just going to shell out the $$$ and get a twin disc so i wont have to ever change it in the future.

500-550rwhp is a magic number and you have to plan your build just right to get it....... goodluck

People that wrapped their exhaust, did you just use the regular wrap you can pick up at autozone, advanced, etc.? Also, did you just wrap it once and call it good, or put another kind of wrap over it?

thats what TRT used for mine, it took a lot of wrapp, they made sure that it was on there, does good justice to the turbo too

That's the best way bro-I don't trust the widebands on the dyno-who knows how many miles are on them baby's. Nice #'s bro-especially with 3lbs less-now turn it up 3 psi and then let'er rip!!!!
