Im not big on the metalurgical properties or suitabilities of titanium etc...
But Inconel exhaust valves are the preferred material for turbo exhaust valves.

Yeah im running stainless still... small exhaust side valve also.... when i do get the heads refreshed and O-ring them i want to step up from the 1.57" valve to a 1.60... from go with Inconel valves also... 2.02"/1.57" Now....

The inconel is preffered material in our turbo builds because of its durability in high temperature applications. That being said, if I was going to try and run something else GM factory valves would be high on my list.

Kurt in your opinion is it even needed to swap to Titanium intake valves??
Do you know off hand what brand Inconel valves you guys use and how much a set are??

We use Ti intake valves for weight reduction in high rpm engines. Stainless intake valves are fine if the rpm is kept reasonable, and the spring can control the valve. What starts to drive the choice is the engines intended use. Once you start getting into the larger diameter valves and the stems are getting longer to help with set-up heights for performance springs and high lift cams, then the valve just gets heavy. Eventually the hard core "gotta have it all" racer is using the ti valves to help feed his addiction for rpm to get on "the good side" of the math. I buy car parts like some people buy drugs, I just can't stop!!

The factory valve is stainless, and has been tested heavily by GM for durability. Although there are some very good aftermarket parts, some of them could not make it through a OE durability test.
I am not saying that a aftermarket part is no good, I am just saying it is not automaticly better just because its aftermarket.
Hopefully I got my point across, I always did bad in spelling and writing!!
