How the hell do you dead hook in 1st with a pt88 with 555r's?
I was still spinning the tires in 4th gear at WOT at 120... and that was with 315 bfg drag radials.
unless your lag really helped out a lot, lol.

I don't recall how heavy Jesse's car is, but weight makes a difference. My 88mm hooks if I don't brake boost it, because it takes a while for it to be in the power band. I ran 9.8@141 leaving on no boost.

if you read all the post's you will see that i said only 16psi in first gear,..and yes that was brake boosting it. All the other gears where ok....and yes the set-up was maxxed out,....the rwhp should have been around mid 900's.
my buddy's twin turbo camaro is about the same way, it grabs almost as good as mine....on the flip side my other buddy's cobra which makes alittle less power is all over the road and when he got a ride in my car he was shocked on how good my car was on a roll with nittos. He has to use hooser 335-35-17's dot drags to come close in the traction.

well lets see. a 3750 car with me in it pulls a couple cars on a cobra from roll...that cobra traps 143 mph in the 1/4 you figure it out. also my buddy's twin turbo dyno's at 1000 plus rwhp and i bet him 6 times from a roll this summer. No i haven't been to a track but i've street raced a ton of 10 sce to low 8 sec cars and bikes to know what kind of power i am making.. a lot of hooking up is in the tune and boost controller also, the way my car transfers weight is insane,... but thats my secret.. oh and your right 16psi-1st gear=around 700hp give or take...but in 2-3-4 its all it makes plus a 150 shot

There is some truth to what he's saying. Some cars that are just properly setup can flatout HOOK on the street. I've seen it done on several different occasions, in varying platforms. It astounds people when they see it, but then again, not a lot of people take the time to make sure their cars can dead hook on the street.
