F-Body D1SC Head Unit Problem/Question Has anyone had any issues installing the F-Body D1sc with ATI fan shroud and stock J bracket?
I had a tough time mounting the head unit last night. The head unit doesn't seem to be clocked correctly. The outlet was aimed almost directly at the fan. There was no way of getting the tubing on.
Take a look at these pictures and let me know if its correct or not. The pictures in the manual look like it might be different.
Post pictures if you have them with the ATI fan shroud.

You can rotate the compressor housing (valute). Loosen up (or remove) the 1/4-20 socket head cap screws around the parimater of the housing, and it will swivel. Clock it to where it fits best, then snug up the cap screws. There are no seals or anything to have to worry about, just make sure the housing is seated completely when you're done.
It's not uncommon at all to have to do this. ATI's blower builders don't get them exactly right all the time.

Its not hard to do, I had to adjust the ones Ive installed....Just take your time and get it right and lock it in place...
