I agree, I have built quite a few sets of headers but honestly bulding headers in a three car garage with two very nice cars parked in there kinda sucks and I cant do it outside - I'd have the cops called on me in 15 minutes. Everything else isnt an issue at all really, even lopping off the front of the frame to move the radiator, a few cold pipes are no biggie but making a set of headers is a PITA..
I used to be 'pro' I guess though since I did it for over 20 years and got paid for it But there are quite a few others here that are more then capable of doing it I'm sure. But I can understand why they dont want to do it, all it takes is one guy that cant get it to fit or not get get decent numbers to start bitching on the internet and you have potential lost sales and unnecessary aggravation..

I understand what your saying, but the're always going to be some customer bitch'n about something no matter what. That level of a build is definately not for the faint of heart, but considering that T.T.I. sells the hot parts for their "Race Kit" and everybody knows that kit is proven to make some serious power. Oh well, I guess It's just my wishful thinking.

Your shop is the only reason I still lived in the NW burbs cause you guys would definitely be doing one of those kits for my car. I need my a/c down here though, but with 1100 plus rwhp on tap I might be able to deal with no a/c.
think that manual trans will hold up? What clutch can hold that power?

Clutch wise, you need a McLeod twin Disc depending on the power level and application you may want to look into friction material options.

Theirs a slim to no chance of large twin system being offered in a 'kit', due to volume and complex fabrication, every car is has different drivetrain and application. This will vary the turbochargers and ultimately change the headers slightly.

So here's the real question; how does it match up with your LT1 TT? Also, what is the guestimate to have this done to a LS1 car? $20,000-$30,000 range? Or am I way off?
