Default Ball bearing turbo leaking oil

Does anyone know if the seals can be replaced in these? Or do i need a new turbo?

What kind of turbo? Are you running a restrictor?

Like Jim asked....will all depend on the unit. We can now rebuild Garrett DBB units as well though

Hopefully the prices are reasonable these days... last BB unit I had was in 2000. I ran too much oil pressure to it and Turbonetics wanted $1100 to rebuild it with 500 miles on it.

Yes some rebuilds will be cheaper now.

Garrett offers an exchange program for the CHRA of many of their turbos now. You send your old ones in for inspection, if they pass you get brand new CHRA for $400 each. I just exchanged my GT30 turbos
