That car is owned by Alan Kennedy, and driven by Dustin11. He's running a y2k-88 at 3200lbs and went a 5.28@137 in the 1/8th. The turbo is done, so I think that car will be moving up soon in turbo size. The rest of that class runs alot larger turbos.

Also splendid driving on your part, especially where she came up and you peddled it back down nice and easy, I like the video.......... Just be glad Donny wasn't in the lane next to you....haha

Wheelstand.....
Once I found the trunk pan was resting on the anti-roll bar and sorted that out, the car went nice and straight. Nothing like the first few passes where it would stand up and go left.

After I watch the video it didn't look like it was that high. Sitting in the car I lost sight of the the time boards. Either way I could tell it was coming up quickly and I didn't want to drag off his rear bumper cover.

I was glad to see Donnie wasn't ready

The turbo is done. I shifted at 7800 and boost had dropped 4#. I'm going to put C02 on the gate to get the boost in sooner. I know there is more left in the 330'. Full boost isn't in until 1.5 seconds. I should be able to get that down and with some limiters on the front I think it can go a 5.25 or better. 60' was also off on the 5.29 pass...1.34 instead of the usual 1.32

I have another turbo cover here, but if your gt47-88 one can show up here in IL by 4.21 I will buy one. Just let me know, I'm not going to check back that much.

Lol. I donated the Thumper turbo for those blankets to get made! They make all of ours as well.

Youre welcome.

Yeah I believe Jose asked them if they needed a thumper, he said he knew where one might be. If not I was going to have one overnighted to him.

Hi I am the one that did all the testing on this new turbo cover I did a 6 month test on both PTK and the New Forced inductions blankets. Hi heat testing, putting them on and taking them off many times the new blankets hold up great and fit a lot better along with the fact that the new ones hold in 40 degrees F more then PTK cover. The PTK cover was falling apart and the new cover looked like I just pull it out of the box after 6 months of abuse. A great improvment over PTKS cover.

Mid-frames are starting to roll in. For the GT47's though the thumper cover suits it the best. The mid-frame will work but its tight. I will have them added to the website for online ordering.

The mid-frame cover will work just fine. The HX52 is very similar to a GT42 on the turbine side.
