Very interested in the IC. What size is it? And what all did you cut for it to fit there. I like how you cut the foam. Just what I was looking for. Any more pics? thanks

Cant wait to hear it run

edit: is that a black fernco coupler before the TB?

Lol, sure is. Can't beat $3, the cheapest I could find them elsewhere was like $9 plus shipping.

Heres the intercooler:

Nice looking setup, good luck with it.

definitely.

How did you get the IC to mount up? I noticed two steel straps coming off the bottom. Any more pics?

That looks really nice for a custom job...a hell of a lot better than the underside of the front of my car looks. I should have just bought the friken kit from TRT

I recently got the same FMIC from another e-bay vendor and had one tank flipped locally for my set-up...

Thanks again guys.

Freak, my stall was for my n/a set-up so it's most likely too high but I'm going to see how it does. It's a yank ss4000. It did very well for my cam only but I'm not so sure with the procharger.

Ok here are some new pics I just took too show the by-pass valve, the intake 90 elbow, the nice shiny bmr radiator support and tried to get the fan set-up I made but it's tight in there so hard to see.

Having seen the aftermath of those rubber couplers, i wish you best of luck with them. 5psi might be ok, anything over that you might have to order a real silicone piece.

Jake, which ones are you reffering to? I wouldn't think the ferncos could burst, they are way too thick and have ALOT of stretch. The ones down by the procharger and intercooler are four-ply which I believe is the same as you sell. The only ones I'm not to sure about are the two by the bypass valve, they seem to be just plain thin rubber but I plan on replacing those with some 4-ply black ones so it all matches up in the engine bay.

No, I got rid of a/c and heat a long time ago. When it's hot I have the windows down when it's cold, I have the car in storage, never really used them.

those ferncos should last. The only issue i've had with them is that when it gets hot under there they tend to get mushy and stretch/flex (which is why theyre great as a home made smooth bellows for lid cars). So every now and then make sure theyre snug and the pipes are still nice and secure. IMO theyre worth it because they wont rip and theyre dirt cheap.

any more info on that IC? just curious how you secured it on the bottom (and top too i guess).

I used some steel straps and bolted it to the top and bottom of the cross brace. Hard to explain without pics but I think I have some before I put the bumper back on, I'll check it out. it's very sturdy even with the center section of the cross bar cut out for air flow.
