That sounds like Carl's 2004 GTO that we recently fininshed. I don't like to see rwhp on my Mustang Chassis Dyno much above 500rwhp. Carl knows it is a bit too much. Bob

Any idea if there is an off the shelf bracket setup for an F1R that would work with an LS1 in a first generation Camaro? Links/pics?

I think the GTO bracket assembly
looks to be the best fit in the 1st gens, although we haven't tried one yet. We do have an original '69 Z28 that we are finishing up installing an '05 LS2 from a wrecked GTO into. I'll have to do some measuring.

ATI offers the GTO kit with an F1A, but I doubt the 8 rib belt assembly would be enough for an F1R. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...html?item=1070

How much power are you looking to make? An F1A will make quite a bit of horsepower. Bob

Yes, we can get anything that ATI produces. Thanks, please send me a pm on the parts, so I don't forget to get back to you on a price. Bob

my (untried) idea from measuring local cars.... is that a C5/C6 bracket, shimmed out to match the crank pulley, would fit and work best.

the nice thing about it, is it uses that unused space on the passenger side of the car, rather then trying to stuff everything over on the drivers side.

I have my blower mocked up with an F-body setup. It takes clearancing the subframe and aftermarket or modified stock control arms because it gets very close to the front mounting point, solid motor mounts will be a must. In my case it's not an issue, I was planning on aftermarket control arms to clear my relocated manual rack and I have Moroso solid motor mounts anyway. In just a few months the car should be running.

Would there be room for the inlet side of the plumbing? Bob

Well i made 632 rwhp with 11psi on stock bottom end didnt last that long I was told 500 rwhp is where you want to stay around.

On a 1st gen there is no need to mount the blower in a newer F-body location.Mounting it up on the side of the motor is alot better for belt support and routing of pipes. We've built numerous small block/big block setups in 1st gens or Malibu's .You want the blower up high.

yea... theres a ton of room there.

its the routing to the intercooler that i really dont know.. without a car infront of me, i cant visualize a mockup with any accuracy.. mostly its the usual problem of how to get that tube up front to the intercooler with the subframe rails in the way.

We just finished putting an LS2 into a 69 Z28. It looked to me that the ProCharger GTO kit would be the closest one to making it work with the fewest hassles. Sort of what we did on this car. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=22 Bob
