is it ok to spray lube in wastegate to prevent it sticking open?

Default is it ok to spray lube in wastegate to prevent it sticking open?

If it sticks it is either physically damaged or very dirty. Lube will only help more dirt , carbon, etc., to stick to it. If a thorough cleaning and a loving touch from some very fine abrasive doesn't do the trick, you are probably looking at replacement.
