school me for boosting on transbrake

Listen to the motor, and watch the stage lights. That's 5 psi minimum before the first beam, 2 step at ~4000 if memory serves (only active on the brake). It leaves at 13ish psi on the brake. You can hear the ramp to 2X psi about the 60 foot. Fun with the staging timing table, fueling, etc.
Do some squats, and work on your leg muscles
I'm afraid Tom's gonna bend the brake pedal this season
Mine takes about 3 seconds to get to 3500 where I have the 2step, and maybe another 3 seconds to hit 10 psi.
Andy you have big cubes and twin 66's, it's totally different... That's why 90% of all racing classes that allow turbos would make you add a ton of weight or not even let your car run next to stock cubes and a single T6.

I figured as much, I've never had a turbo before. I can't believe it's that hard on a single to build boost!
the car doesnt move at all w/ t brake on

not interested in buing a new brake set up
i have 366ci and a pte-88, doesnt move much air at 2-3k rpms
I tried to put all brake pressure to the back rotors...same thing...i think our brakes are just too small for getting a big turbo up on a tight converter. TUNE is most of where its at on getting it up on the brake.....lean and timing......keep working it Dave and you will make more progress. The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
i revv'd it up as much as i could on the foot then got into the t brake and when i let off the car moved forward way too much, so i must have not given enough time. i did it again and here comes my dad up behind me in the driveway aarrhg! so i let go of the tb button when i saw him and spun em good at i think a 3psi launch in the wet driveway.
i added about 5* of timing across where the brake goes and really couldnt tell much, but like i said wasnt good data.

Thats exactly what ya told me to do also...... i can tell the difference from before even testing on the street....
Harlan for the holding the brakes for the 1st beam its makes all the world of a difference after engaging the TB. Id say almost 3 sec. faster....
Does Tom have dowble Calipers to hold the car?? I can only get about 2-3 psi footbrakingand then once the 2step and TB are engaged it climbslike an animal compared to before..... I cant wait to see what more timing on the brake will do..........
Just Test it Dave..... be sure to let here cool a while.....betwen testing....
