Default Converting to a YSI or T-trim

How hard is it to go from a g-trim vortech on an ls1 to a ysi or t-trim? I have heard that lots of stuff has to be either cut or relocated for a t-trim, but what about a YSI?

Just as soon as I get my fuel pressure under control, my g-trim locks up. I like RMCR T-Trim cog-drive set-up.

I am going to running the 2.65 on my g-trim; do you think the 2.75 would be better ? I have been told the 2.65 is "snappier" than the 2.75.

i have that pulley in my garage, the benefit of it to bring booster all throughout but you cant rev it as high. think i'm gonna only rev to 6400 cause you will overspin the blower.

looking fwd to seeing if it brings in 1-2 more lbs

yep. find out what happened to your blower, make sure there no chunks of metal in your pan, drain your fluid and cut open your filter to verify.

so moving up to one of these larger head units is as simple as a bracket and a blower? of course pending you have the proper fuel, tranny, bottom end, ect ect

I think the Aftercooler would be a restriction if running a YSi. The YSi also has a bigger inlet than the S/G/T Trims.

I dont know if it would be that much of a restriction because it AtoW. Also, RMCR has it pictured on their website as an upgrade kit for g-trim guys. they also have a pic of attached to all of the usual intercooler hardware. By the way I already have the extra resorvoir kit they sell as well.

Gotcha, I never ran the G kit aftercooler, I ran a Griffin FMIC with my old YSi setup. That old YSi setup was very responsive, when it would come off the 'brake it felt like I had a big block in there.

Hope my setup comes out that well. Should be pretty quick for a full street trim car. Hopeing for about 530; should be enough to run over a couple snakes I am having trouble with .
