Twin STS's?

Just buy a stock y-pipe, then get an i-pipe and hook it up the normal way. Those parts couldn't cost you more than $300 verses a $1000+ in turbo parts...plus all the extra work

!!agreed, justifying adding another turbo becase you have dual exhaust, maybe the worst idea ever... you will lose so much heat through two exhaust pipes you will never make boost.

my point is it is a foolish idea to build a twin turbo (remote mount none the less) as opposed to an arguably cheaper and more efficient single turbo set up just for the sake of salvaging an existing TD setup.
not to mention that the charge pipes will take up quite a bit of room under the car...real estate is not exactly easy to come by under an fbody with TDs in the first place.

Sure, ditch the muffler and then the bumper stuff for the FMIC, but ya, I did pick up some weight. My poor brakes were done for from the beginning

the vettes do have a much more complex system than the normal single rear mounts. they have to run the cold side throught the fenders! there must be at least 3 miles of pipe work. lol
that said i think someone has got over 700rwbhp on stock turbos! i think the GT32 units are pushing more like 900 if you have the motor! but they dont have the choice. lol
have a look at the thread on the single rear mount vett on here. now that looks like a good setup!

Chris.
