I just saw this car destroy the entire class @ MIR during the mountain motor nationals last night. Let me tell you this car is one of the simplist designs I have ever seen. Its crazy to see the underhood of the car and know that it goes THAT fast. Honestly it looks like a mid seven second car. Its an incredible car!

From looking at it....
427, Front mounted Turbonetics 106, 5" exhaust, air to water IC behind the dash, 160# injectors, sheetmetal intake, Fast EFI, looked like single wastegate and BOV.

Thanks you should have let me know that you were there, I tried to make as much time for anyone with questions as I could but I wan't to meat more people from here. The only thing that sucks is that MIR dosen't want the frantic 7 going any faster than a 6.40 don't know why! but we talked to Tommy Grey (driver of the Undertaker) he agreed to unload the car in the final with us but ended up shaking the tires and we were having problems with our Co2 keeping the wastegate closed we were planning on running a 6.20 with tommy. but only ran a 6.44. Were going to be at Maple Groove on Sat. for the Pinks show come Check us out.

They are running 526cu\in BB with roots type we are running a single turbo and SBC so far we are holding it back car is capleable of 6.0's.Because everybody wants to keep adding weight to us to slow us down. (we made our first pass which is the video on this thread and they added 50lbs to us, the first pass of the first race of the year) As of now we are undecided If we are going to build a 10.5 car or another Pro mod to AMS specs (2700lbs, 525 cu\in twin 91mm, twin disc clutch max)

anytime someone builds something new that goes fast the class gets scared and always starts putting limitations on you....

you need to keep the car in the middle of the pack for a while and then slowly speed it up or you will either get kicked out or they will change the rules to where its impossible for you to compete... this always happens in heads up racing

Yea we knew that they were worried about us. we wnet testing and laid down a 6.25, a day later the president of the club called telling us that the guys were complaining so we went out that day and tried to lay down a high 30 pass it didn't work out to well. Its pretty sad that we have to hold the car back. I think that the car can go consistant 6.20's or even 6.10's. but we'll see what happens
