Torque spiked when the tach signal was lost for a second. The actuall torque is right at 600, and HP bested at 580 ish

Pre tune, on the way to the dyno. This is down about 150hp from the end dyno run.

Cracked 600, but had issues with a restriction in one of the fuel feed lines tonight. Fuel pressure started dropping when we upped the boost. We're up to 605hp, and 658tq

Last night the best HP was 653 but there wasnt a tq. reading b/c we couldnt get a proper tach signal... i'm betting tq. was over 700

Some kind of problem with earls fitting and aroequip lines. They don't like going together nicely without pinching in and necking the line down.

Nice stuff! Do you have any more pics/details of the custom sub frame connectors?

the 653 was at 15.2psi... like i said, i didnt get a torque reading, but judging by how the rest of the runs were going, the tq. would have been well over 700...

Also, all of these runs are at 10* of WOT timing. He wanting to keep the timing really conservative until he got the fuel correct, then he was going to work on the timing. We obviously never got there. However, i notice that most guys run 17 to 18* of timing, so theres a bit more power to pull out of it there. Might actually have to pull the boost back some. I dont honestly want to go much beyond 700 hp or tq... This will be a DD car on nice days... I'll still probably put a good 6-10K miles on it per year.

Sounds good. Your numbers will definitly climb with added timing. Yes you will have to pull boost for sure since its dangerous to run 15lbs on pump gas without meth. My car is also racking up 10k miles per year or even more. Nothing like a 700hp commuter car. Good luck finishing the tuning. Sounds like you guys are doing it all in a safe manner. Congrats.

650 was once boost came in, and he backed right out of it on account of the fuel issue. If I'm not mistaken, I think that was @4500 or less.

I just checked and couldn't find any decent pictures of the sub frames. It does kinda look like we left them a little amateur. The look very nice complete though. They are flush and painted to match. I'll get some pics soon.

awesome!!!!

It's performing and looks great! Would love to have the skill and time, let alone a sweet lift, to build a kit like that. Sure doesn't look budget, thats for sure!

At this point, maybe a meth kit might help with the tune. Your making great power where you are at now so it won't hurt keeping it conservative, but potent!

laterZ!

Bish im very pleased!!!!!!!!!!!! with the numbers so far, im sure its a pure beast once boost is in. Makes me quesiton what numbers you can really get out of that thing once you do turn it up. also very interested in an aggressive race gas tune as well. i wonder if 800rwhp is possible

It might be a little over budget, but the initial budget didn't take alot of extras into consideration. Would you believe we still got him driving away with considerably less invested than just the purchase price of a measly 500hp LS7?

cam is 220/224 570/570 115lsa

A LITTLE over budget - haha... Let's not discuss the cost

Its a liklihood that over the winter i will add a meth kit and have it retuned ... I definitely want this to be a long-lasting engine
