hp tuners tune, car has 66k on stock springs, only running 5psi now still doing it but it only does it when the car is not at normal opt temp

I'm not sure if it is the same problem. But, I have a lean condition while entering boost under the same conditions as yours. I think tuning is my issue, I just haven't found the fix.

it does it a lot when the engine is cold, not so much when it warms up??

Not sure, I'll have to see if there is a correlation hot or cold.

You shouldn't run stock springs, change them.

100% you need to change springs first....also you say the car only will do it when its cold .have you cleaned the mass air?.. what filter? what injectors? what fuel pump?...sounds like tune to me....

dont get into boost when the car is cold....aftermarket springs dont like rpms before they have warmed up.

The MAss air is clean, walbro 255 intank pump, new oem fuel filter, 42lb injectors.


I am going to buy some springs as soon as I can get some cash, thanks guys.
So I should get the cc 918's?

you took my punch line....lol get 918's and get a retune, fuel should be enough as long a you keep the boost down....

Why would I have to retune by replacing my valve springs? Everthing on the current tune looks good.

Well I FINALLY FIXED THE PROBLEM, I was just got back from college and did a good check on everything I noticed right before the a vacuum line coming off the t feeding the boost contoller was ripped, so I simply put a new line in and whatdu know, NO MORE BACK FIRING THANK GOD THANKS FOR EVERYONE WHO TRIED TO HELP ME OUT, AND THE VALVE SPRINGS ARE GOING IN SOON. I guess excess air was getting in the exhaust or something.
