Compression and boost questions Hey if any of you guys remember, i was planning on doin twin turbos on my silverado a while ago, and it never happened. Well, now ive got a silverado SS and my turbo idea has popped back into my head again, and i was just wondering what kind of boost you guys with stock compression ratios 10:1 were safely running on you supercharged or turbos LS1s? Before i wanted to run 8-10, is that still going to be an obtainable goal with my 6.0 motor at 10:1?? Thanks

Re: Compression and boost questions I'm doing 9:1 on my new Iron block motor, I plan to eventually run around 15-16psi on it safely...
Stock 10:1 compression will last a while just needs to be setup right, but you can't run as much boost as you could if you lowered the compression
